Soybean Science Kit Workshops

Fred Henderson brings 32 years of practical, front-line teaching experience to his role as workshop trainer. He is well versed in many special techniques uniquely suited to stimulating elementary students' curiosity about science and the environment.

In the workshops, Fred demonstrates the Soybean Science Kit: Polymers, Oil, & Biotechnology by taking teachers through three lessons – emulsions, candles, and lip balm. In addition, he'll give a quick review of the Soybean Science Kit curriculum guide's 18 additional lessons.
